What will I learn?

Find out how to use Search Engine Optimisation to promote your business.

When the right visitors are coming to your website and taking action on your content, then you know you’ve accomplished successful Search Engine Optimisation.

Simply put, SEO is the process of driving traffic to your website from search engines via “natural” search results for your businesses targeted keywords, e.g. “gardeners Essex”. Usually, the earlier your website is presented in the search results, the more searchers will visit your website. But how do you do it? This workshop will teach you the basics of SEO.

Thanks to funding from the government's Economic Challenge Investment Fund this workshop is free of charge to people living in Essex and Suffolk.

• Anyone interested in improving the efficiency of their website
• Early stage businesses setting up their websites
• Established businesses wanting to learn about the latest web marketing techniques 
• Anyone living / working in Essex or Suffolk

What’s included?

• 7 hours of intensive tutoring with Dean Baxter, a highly experienced web expert
• Lunch, and tea and coffee
• Membership of  VentureNavigator, the free online business advice service for startups from the University of Essex.

 

Please note: you will be charged a £25 cancellation fee if you do not give us 48 hours notice of non-attendance. You have to be living or working in Essex or Suffolk to attend this free workshop.
